You may remember Myspace when it was popular a few years back, but it has lost the social media battle to Facebook and Twitter. Now, Myspace is revamping their entire website since Specfiic Media bought the company a year ago. The new Myspace is looking to bring a new user experience and hopefully revitalize their popularity. In order to log-in to Myspace you will use your Twitter or Facebook account and you can transfer information and photos from those accounts. Myspace has always been strong in their music aspect and their revamp keeps that same focus. It has a very artsy interface and the entire website seems to go after the creative niche of musicians, designers, and filmmakers. There are even discussions about Myspace TV and whether or not they will have their own music service.

Social media is not going anywhere anytime soon, so Myspace’s choice to revamp their style and attempt to get back in the game is smart. The question still remains if it will actually be a success or not. A New Look For Myspace.  The fact that they will venture into TV puts them in competition with Hulu, Netflix, Amazon and other streaming services which could be a tough battle. It will definitely be interesting to see how it all turns out.
